The Modern Knowledge Schools Elementary Division proudly presents to our students an internationally balanced teaching staff that is committed to the development and use of the American curriculum. Our campus designed to meet the educational needs of 400 students in grades 1-5. Each grade level is comprised of four heterogeneously designed classrooms with a target class size of 20 students. These four classrooms work together in a grade-leveled cohort following a spiraling curriculum meeting the multi learning styles of  all of our learners. All instruction is conducted in English with the exception of the required Arabic courses.

Students are instructed daily in the content areas of language arts, math, science, and social studies. All content subjects are instructed in English, by a team of highly qualified educators. Students additionally receive a daily instructional period in Arabic for Arabic language, Arabic social studies and Islamic Religion. Throughout the course of each week a schedule of unified arts instruction in the areas of physical education, art, music, library, and computers skills provides the enrichment needed to develop a well-rounded young learner with a strong foundation, prepared for the future.

The Modern Knowledge School After-School Club, meeting twice weekly, is designed provide small group support for a struggling learner. Additionally, students in need receive early morning instructional support in Arabic twice weekly.  For the student interested in extended music training we offer the MKS Choral Group, a group of committed young musicians who dedicate extended day training to develop a performance level musical repertoire.

September 2007 will mark the opening of our new state of the art, multi-purpose gymnasium. Here the student population will have the opportunity to develop healthy bodies in a controlled environment. We are additionally looking forward to the opening of our new library, designed to develop the support our young readers as they pursue their love of literature while additionally providing the tools to understand the importance of research in today’s fast paced world.
